Awhile back my sister-in-law suggested that I blog to document my life while my husband is deployed. To use it as an outlet. To keep my friends and family up to date. To remember. I was resistant to the idea, simply because writing isn't something I consider a strong point. A few friends have since encouraged me to blog, so I finally figured I'd give it a go.
This is a blog about my adventures with my husband and my adventures alone. Dan's deployment is halfway over now, so some of theses posts will be memories over the past few months, and some will be current. I used to wish this eight month deployment away, but now I realize that each day has its own story. And each day is important. So here's to a new adventure. The adventure of blogging.
